5:00 AM
The alarm goes off and I hit snooze.
5:10 AM
My alarm snoozes and I get up with eyes closed. I sit in my bed and my feet freeze as they touch the cold marble floor; my bedroom slippers are hiding yet again under my bed.
I curse, this early in the morning.
Downstairs Mother is having breakfast. "Good morning," I say and get my morning kiss.
I take my seat, grab a cup of coffee and fix my eyes on the morning news on TV.
6:45 AM
All dressed, I stare at myself in the mirror: hair neatly put away in a ponytail, eyes tired due to sleep deprivation.
I grab my bag and leave.
7:15 AM
Traffic is sparse.
The bus takes its endless course from the bus station to its destination. Its passengers - a sales clerk, a college student and a bunch of businessmen and office workers - either make urgent calls, take a nap or imagining themselves as the lead in a music video of the song playing on their iPod.
I, on the other hand, stare blankly at space; I in slumber with eyes open.
8:30 AM
The university is as surreal as ever. As cars pile up and other students arrive, I hurry my self to class.
8: 45 AM
Everyone's exchange of gossip abruptly stops as the professor arrives. Everything then turns into a blur.
4:00 PM
I awake from hibernation.
After a few goodbye's I take the bus home. I sit at the far end and forget the world's existence.
And that of my own.
10: 45
Homework done and projects crammed, I prepare myself for sleep.
